Catch & release. Just got this from Europe but the sleeve measurements given were not very accurate, just too long for me.

Simmons bilt x Standard & Strange Two Lane Blacktop Jacket, made of Horween Lux Horsehide, in size 40

Made by Simmons Bilt in Scotland of Horween’s Lux Horsehide. Lux is mid - heavy weight tea core full grain horsehide with a soft hand. No need to go for a lengthy break in, the jacket is substantial but drapes beautifully

Jacket is in great shape, as leather is teacore, brown is showing through areas of higher wear such as sleeves

This pattern is based on SB’s Tailgunner, which itself is a cross between SB’s Cafe Racer & Roadster(Highwayman)

Two internal pockets with snap closure
Cotton Lining
Two way heavy duty Riri Zippers

Measurements-

Pit to pit 22.75

Back length from the bottom of the collar 24.75

Shoulder to shoulder 19.5

Shoulder to cuff 26.25

Not sure, but my arms measure 24 inches from shoulders to wrist. The sleeve length looks to be okay for me, its the shoulders that are too wide. I have 18" shoulders, and this jacket is 19.5". I think it fits more like a 42 or L rather than the labelled 40

No shoulder gussets? Looks like the one on their webpage has them..?

The one on their website currently is made out of Blattwerk horsehide, while this one is Horween Lux. This was checked with SXS by previous owner. They have confirmed the jacket was offered in both leathers, apparently the Lux version did not have shoulder gussets
