My grandfathers 1932 Regal Grand Concert Custom built #5 that I restored a few years back ( top was splintered so I fit a new top, replaced a couple broken braces, straightened neck warp, new ebony fretboard/ frets, and did all new binding. a couple dozen coats of nitro lacquer polished by hand.) Hats not quite as old but its an appropriately vintage #1 Quality Stetson

The puppy always inserts himself in my hat pictures, so hes in the reflection of course

Here's a couple of Disney Fifteens for y'all to check out. First one is from the 40's I reckon, 2nd one is from the 50's if my estimate is correct. HUGE difference in these hats, from the overall proportions to the "feel" of the felt. The older hat is labeled as being an Otter 15 while the newer one is simply labeled Disney 15. The Otter 15 is very luxurious and velvety to the touch. Both are easily molded without steam however the newer hat feels stiffer to me. Kinda like comparing a Stetson Royal Deluxe to a Royal . Yea...a lot like that is the best way I can describe it.
