A bit late to this thread but here's my size 42 Aero Late WW2 RAF. I've worn it all winter and can still wear it in the evenings when it's cooler here (North West UK)
Layering is key as I can wear a Merino submariner with it when the temp is under 5c. A lightweight jumper for anything over 5c or even just a t-shirt is fine, although I do run quite hot.
