My Chords wallet came. Truly a horsehide monster and at 80% off second hand, couldn't resist. 3/4" thick and long makes it a jacket pocket/front pocket only for sure.

It was a special collab /w butterscotch ... I got it about a year ago. I wouldn't say its "better" ... It's a vanson, solid classic vanson cut and quality build. Works very well with my ... umm ... physique, which is more dad bod every passing day. The specialty leather in this run is definitely a cut above whats on vansonleathers.com

Lost World goatskin G-1, it's pretty tough, started off pretty flat but now it's alright. It's pretty stiff around the pockets because it's layered up and won't fold and crease to break in so easily, also the interior pocket is made of some really stiff and heavyweight canvas too.

If you like grain or quality leatherworking in general check out this Japanese brand Wild Swans. They seem pretty popular there. This one is an ink dyed Moo Deng.

They also do some sketchy stuff like elephant, but as far as I'm concerned hippos are dicks and not endangered so they're fair game lol.
