Finally had my SLR repaired, here's some nice detailed grain shots of my 30's aviator jacket in the sunlight.

Last couple of post inspired me to take a few glamour shots of my RMC Buco JH--1. Easily the heaviest and most solidly put together 'modern' jacket that I own and the most similar of any of the RMC Bucos I've had to my 50s J22 in terms of weight, thickness and general feel. It's got a really nice patina developing. Here's some pics while the weathers still cool enough for that heavy wool lining. Apologies for the slightly green patio!

Overall the Leather on the La Brea is a bit smoother than on the Brakeman but early Shinki HH used from FW is still my all time fav Leather

It does....and the buttery feel on the hand is amazing....I have a small but deep collection of premium leather jackets and this one is something else
