Show us your vintage hat stands

Found these while cleaning out a room in my late mother-in-law's house. I think these were used for both shelf risers and hat stands.

12.5" tall and 5" wide at the base on both ends. They unscrew in the middle to make shorter risers.

Sort of a violet glass with bubbles and imperfections, so I think they are pretty old.

Post up your vintage hat stands!

Not sure. I've seen them marketed as such (as well as shelf risers), but have not run across an original advertisement or catalog promoting them specifically as that. It's what I'm using them for though.

Well they certainly are a high class display item whatever they are...

Good snag, Bob. I’m working on using an old DP bottle, vintage from my wife’s birth year, makeshift hat stand. Doesn’t quite fit this thread but I’ll share a pic once completed.

Here ya go. I think circa late 2020. Ok maybe not as vintage as the others here but they are cheap...

Found these wig stands also advertised as hat stands on some listings. 3 for about 7.99 on Amazon. They are not big enough around to engage the sweat band on my hats but do not seem to deform the hats.

Yeah ... your wife is certainly not vintage. :D Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Well, this post doesn’t quite fit the bill as vintage either but it’s exactly what I was trying to do. All it took was lone trip, cross country to my parents place in Michigan. Arrived last night and had some energy left to string some corks together on a wire coat hanger.

It’s not the finished product, but it’s extremely easy to make (my parents had plenty of corks... strange coincidence?) and figured you guys might appreciate the DIY and take it step further.

An excuse to drink more wine! If I wasn't too lazy I would post a GIF of Austin Powers saying "Yeah baby!"
