NTD! New Truck Day! Look what followed me home. With 150,000 mi on my 2013 with low compression on cylinder #8 it was time to let her rest easy.

Love the color scheme!Yesterday was the third time that we have been out socialising post Covid19. It was all very convivial other than we were in a paddock, keeping a reasonable distance, just enough not to have to shout when in conversation. The band are very popular locally and the lady singer's husband came along with his new acquisition. He's a professional classic car restorer and this new project had many admirers even though it's looking rather sad.
If you are not car crazy the model is The Chevrolet Fleetline. It's unusual in that it is right hand drive. I thought that it might have been made for the Australian market but the new owner tells me that it was bought new in South Africa. The sleek lines and the two tone paint give this car the kind of character that is so lacking in today's safety conscious society.

Lust brought this home today. A ‘28 Dodge Brothers Victory Six Brougham. About a hundred miles on her since a nut-and bolt restoration- in 1985. She’ll need a little sorting out.
