Thanks William.....
I'm in Sweden at the moment, when I return I head to Germany and then Milwaukee after that.
Intensive training at the moment, right up until the summer (I'm an Engineer.... I look after Nuclear Reactors and MRI Scanners).

I've a friend that will receive Christine for me..... when she's here I'll drive over to see you.

All the best.

Lee.

Come a long way in the past few weeks.

When we picked up this Satellite, this is what it looked like, it also did not run. Had no Carb, Intake, or Alternator.
Today, it runs, I drove it all around, and it looks like this.

We still have plenty of plans for cleaning her up, but not bad for a couple weeks' time.

@ StraightEight: What a nice ID! Just wondering about the Augsburg number plates?

Thanks! Love those photos, they are an inspiration. We became Bavarian residents for the duration of our trip. Now the car is on the M/S Tristan headed to Los Angeles. I posted some trip pics in another thread but here are a few more.

My 1933 Buick model 90 7 passenger sedan. Original car, owned by the DuPont family. Has folding jump seats in the back, large straight 8 engine, runs perfect.

Guess I'll join the party.

This is my 1968 Karmann Ghia. She's old, cantankerous, and has been hit so many times that she leans permanently to one side. I love her, anyway.

12 years and far too many miles to count, and she still runs like new.
