New upper control arms, ball joints, and shocks on the blue '71. Next, lower control arms and ball joints.
Boy, are coil springs a royal pain in the rear! :p

I made a hard decision yesterday to sell my 1929 Essex.
It started as a father son project 25yrs ago, and while I've had it on the road since 1998, I was unable to complete it (interior, and minor outside work).
An aging father, pain and fatigue issues, and the desire to let someone else finish it, led to this decision.
Well and the fact someone offered me cash money, close to what I wanted. ;)
That's how life works, I have the money to finish it now, but I don't have the car.
At least the new owner will give it a good home, and possibly send it to Mecum Auction because he sells at least 2-3 60's Chryslers there each year.
This is the final picture, before the buyer came over.
Apparently I wasn't standing straight, or the property has a hill I'm not aware of. :D

Sad to hear it Gregg, but I understand. Cash money in hand speaks pretty loud sometimes. Hopefully you got enough $$ to get a good start on the next project.

Thanks.
For now, no projects.
I'm buying another vehicle to take on trips, and let my wife drive in town.
At least I'll be able to purchase this one with cash.
Sounds impressive, but I'm getting it wholesale. ;)

If I ever got another 69 Camaro it would have to be a Stage III Baldwin Motion! The very name is cool.
