It's all stock and came to me with about 29,000 miles on the clock, which I believe to be original based on its condition.

Wow, that is fantastic! How did you find her? (You can also PM me if you'd like.)

No problem. Craigslist, out of North Prairie, Wisconsin. As it is difficult to search Craigslist nationally, I usually depend on Google. Type into Google "Craigslist" and the item you are looking for, in my case "Craigslist sedanette" (even though Buick spelled it sedanet, my seller chose the proper French spelling). Just good luck. The Buick was the first item to pop up.

Posted elsewhere, but here's one of the Buick at berth alongside its tender, and the view from the wheelhouse.

I absolutely love your car. The original ones are best!

Mine's unrestored too. Here she is today at a show:

A fabulous '41! Complete with an "A" gas ration sticker. I almost bought one just like it before finding the Sedanet, but they wanted way too much and wouldn't budge. Hard to believe yours is un-restored, it's in such fine condition. How did it come to be in Dublin?

Those fins at the ends of the front bumper are unusual. I don't recall seeing that before. The deco accents imply that they're original. I wonder if that was a Canadian model?

They're called elephant ears. They're not all that rare on those Buicks, but rare enough. A pair in good condition can set you back a good $1,000.
They're one of those little fine details that make the difference between a pretty good restoration and a prize winner.
I believe Mr H has a whole thread somewhere describing the whole wonderful story of his acquisition of this fabulous car.

STRAIGHT EIGHT, I am green with envy. I've long admired those fastback Buicks. Especially in black. That is one sharp car.

ALSO: Can anyone tell me what "original miles" actually means? Aren't all the miles on it original? Is it bad that I own a 55 Chevy and am not hip to this lingo?
Thanks all.

It refers to miles that were clocked up on the original engine. If the engine has been re-built, the clock is reset to zero usually, meaning that the "new" miles on the "new" engine are no longer original miles.

I'll take two. :D Great old trucks. My 1957 GMC is in the shop now and I miss it. :(

I'm trying, lol. What model G.M.C.? I have a buddy that has a 58 Suburban Carrier (G.M.C. Cameo). There good old trucks. I've had mine for a while. I'm waiting till it blows up to restore it. For the last 13 years I've just been having fun with it.

Nice Chevy! What's it got under the hood? V8 283?

I gotta get off my lazy a$$ and start building my next project, '28 A RPU.

Oh its just a regular deluxe cab GMC with a long stepside bed. Nothing special about it beside the 347C.I. engine in it. Not too many of those still exist. :D
