I had arrived late, but was still able to make this score. Someone else had already grabbed the 50’s and 60’s ties, as well as the countless vintage self-tie bowties. Who knows what else I might have missed.


….Luckily though, I was able to snag these 1930’s and 1940’s ties, and one bowtie!

Yep, and quite the sale it was. Though I can't help but wonder what I might have found, had I arrived earlier. C'est la vie. In any case I'm quite happy with what I did come away with!

I think they are both acetate, but no idea how old they might be. They are 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 inches wide and 53 and 54 inches long.

I found a few at a small town outdoor swap last weekend. Nothing too exciting, but for $1.00 each I found a few that I liked. Excuse the backdrop (and the wrinkles). My wife had the dining room table covered up with stuff she drug home from her late Mom's storage.

Some sort of club tie? H.S.C., Wales and USA flags, Terylene, 49" x 3".

R-M Style, Corvette 25th Anniversary, 100% silk, 56" x 3-3/4".
