Had a hard day at work on Monday so my wife took me thrifting to lift my mood. It worked! Prices ranged from 50-cents to $2.00.

Wow nice score. 5-10$ in a few thrift stores plus hours of entertainment. Better than going to the movies

What happened in the days I didn't come around here?

Great collection, SurfGent! WOW!

@Dale & Bob: Nice scores! Some beauties there! I really love all the red 40's ones and Bob's brocade. The striped Murrytown and the plaid one aren't to bad either... ;)

Thanks for all the kind words SurfGent, MelancholicNostalgic, Matt, and Bob!

Bob, congrats on the haul!! The Crestwood is my favorite (can you believe it?) but they all are enviable finds. Several decades worth of goodness covered in that sweep.

It's very short, very light weight. Not sure what the material is. Ingalls Ties "Tie the Nation" Seen here in the wild

How about this for a find. Was made by a small clothing maker in the 70s. From all the research I could find. The guy started out in the costume department for some of the major studios in Hollywood and started offering his wears in several stores in Los Angeles. When I 1st saw this tie it almost got over looked and I happened to look closer and couldn't believe it.

Very nice haul, Swinglish! I would take them all... ;)
Any labels on the backside?

Thanks everyone, I'm really pleased with the.

They came to me via Baron Kurtz, so I have him to thank for this amazing wardrobe upgrade :)

Many of them still have the original price labels and card button tags still on... I'm kind of afraid to wear them :)

I picked up a few more ties today on a bag sale. A couple I think are vintage and a couple not.

And last week I picked up a few wide polyester types.

I guess the center on in that last lot is from today too. Labeled Brooks Basics and it has bunny rabbits eating carrots on it.

I really have to get this impulse buying under control.
