I found these at the thrift store today! I think all of them are 60s at least, as all of them are short (54" and shorter), and they all are very light, and thinly padded. Non of them have the modern satin lining in the tip either. I am thinking they are all 50s-60s.
Ultra Trojan: Sold by Harry Israel. 52" Long 3" Wide. I'm guessing 50s on this tie, but it might be older.
Ivytone Londonderry in red. 54" Long 2 1/2" Wide. I'm guessing 50s or 60s.
Ivytone Londonderry in black. 54" Long 2 1/2" Wide. I'm guessing 50s or 60s.
I actually saw a few more there. A specific one I saw was a blue plaid one made in Scotland. It was unlined, but it's tag didn't look too old. However, I am pretty sure I missed a few. I plan on going back tomorrow.
I went back to the thrift store today, and I got three more! I hope I didn't miss anymore! None of them are heavy, and all of them are thinly padded. I am guessing all of the ties I got today are late 50s, or early 60s.
Wembley: 55" Long 2" Wide. I'm guessing this tie is from the early 60s.
Superbra Cravats: Sold by Boynton's inc. 56" Long 2 1/2" Wide. I don't know when this tie is from, mainly due to the long length of it. However, I'd guess mid 60s. Oddly, it doesn't tie that long.
A. Louis: 54" Long 2 1/2" Wide. I'm guessing this one is the oldest of the bunch, as it's the shortest. I'm guessing this tie is either from the late 50s, or the early 60s.
