Scored this skinny mid-century clip on bow at a flea market today.
Diggin' it Dale.

I used to wear a coat and tie to work every day, but my one concession to nonconformity was to wear ties that expressed my hobbies and interests, like hunting...!
Sweet pheasant tie, Bob!
It's a real beauty! The style was popular in the 40s and 50s. That's about as close as I can get you.I have been wanting to post this interesting tie for quite a while. I don't have much from my father. He has been gone since 1975, mom just sent everything to charity. I was a kid and didn't appreciate his vintage ties, so I only have one to remember him by.
I am interested in any information that the Lounge Gurus can provide about this one. It is pleated with a purple highlight. There are remnants of what appears to be hand painted details. I love this tie for so many reasons. The dimensions are, 3" wide and a length of 54" The brand is Roberts Bros. Fashion Craft. Any information provided will probably make me cry a bit.

Great find man!At $3.99 this was way above my normal tie budget, but ... well ... Hermes.
Also ... I like fish.
Great find man!
Hahahaha. Thanks Harv. My first Hermes was 85-cents. These things are getting expensive!
Couple from today...
Countess Mara from a now-defunct local menswear store that was around for nearly 100 years. Silk. 56" x 3-1/2".
1940s (?), Navajo Weavers, wool, 46" x 3-1/2".
I thought that Countess Mara was a pretty sweet find until I scrolled down and saw the Navajo Weavers one. Superb find right there!!
Perfect!!Thanks Dale!
Yeah ... I was not leaving without that one. I have a new Zuni tie pin to pair with it.
