This was the first item that I found at St. Vincent De Paul's. It was peeking through the rack, behind fifty polyester ties, and I thought, "Wow, what a nice tie. I wonder..." and it definitely was:
The first of the "Goodwill Thirty". There were many ties on the racks that day, and when I first saw it, I asked myself what kind of person wore such a tiny tie? Then, after checking out the label and construction, "Ah, the man who bought it in 1951". My other reaction was "Evil Lord Business" from The LEGO Movie; to those of you who have seen it, it actually looks like the tiny cape that the character wears. My friend has a red Wembley made twenty years later, with the notorious "WEMBLON by Wembley" label, that he bought at a flea market.
Another tie from St Vin's. Unfortunately, it has a lot of wear near the "knot" portion (not shown):
Another tie from Goodwill, but somebody ripped out the lining, and this tie needs to be re-sewn:
