More 1940s and 1950s ties I've gotten fairly recently. From thrift stores, estates and auction sites.

All of those are absolute killers Marc. My friend has the frenchie one in yellow or black I think. He also has the wolf one under the lamp post!

Let me know if you ever want to get rid of that space tie. Geez louise...

This is my latest tie: Hollyvogue. Mid-late 30s, maybe early 40s (I was told). 100% silk.

I tend not to go for the more flamboyant designs.

Very nice example of an early Hollyvogue, a company which would truly come into its own in the '50s.

It never ceases to amaze me what designs can be found on vintage ties. For a split-second I almost thought it was a Dali.​
