Even ties from common sources were cool back then.
Just today I got a deal even you would love. Six 50s ties for $3. It was at an estate sale and the ties were buried to one side of a sliding door closet. I also picked up a 1947 console radio and a waterfall armoire.

It still just amazes me how many different designs there must have been. I don't even know to describe the one on the left. Does it change to solid color further up?

Dinerman, this ties are just my taste. Understated and elegant but still very different than modern ones. Are they from the 30s?

:rofl: I was wondering when you were going to get it. I'll see if I can get pictures of the whole thing.
