I picked up these Mansfield Shell Longwings yesterday.

I'm guessing they are late '60's models. Made by the makers of Bostonians according to an old newspaper ad, and on sale for $23, also according to the ad.

Bought these Vintage boots off Ebay a week ago.
No date stamps, only stamps "Dolcian B742 7 17". They were sold as ww2 officer ammo boots but as there are no stamps to prove it I don't wan to market them as such.

They looked and were quite dirty. Luckily it was just plain dirt and they cleaned up well.
Damn they're made well. The attention to detail is staggering.

Nice boots they look a lot like the George Webb shoes we both have. If you do a shot comparing them I would say they could be from the same maker...

Were these hunting boots? I sort of recall linemen's boots having a double layer on the inside ankle area.

They are not "officer's boots", but rather some nice, likely veldtshcoen boots. Very watertight and sturdy.

regrettably, i don't have photos of these yet, but I picked up a near perfect pair of Ralph Lauren saddle shoes for 10 bucks. Some rich kid must have gotten a scuff on them, and donated them. Vintage shoes.... I don't know. I've always wanted a pair of classy Art Deco-y shoes, but I have a swird shaped pair of feet, and I don't think I'd fit into a normal pair of 10.5s (If i could ever find an affordable pair, that is).

I've always been satisfied with modern versions of vintage style shows. Where do you guys find these 30s-40s shoes?? And my shoe size is 10.5, and narrow, making it tough to find normal shoes that fit, let alone vintage ones.

The answer for me, is that I spend way too much time looking through ebay listings. Even large sizes can be found with enough time spent looking - those Roblees I posted are 11.5B.
