Bought this amazing dress from Vintage Raven, who had bought it from VintageMartini.

and these shoes just arrived today, I am mad about the heel, that it gets so ultra thin in the middle. They are with a t-strap and they are peep toe shoes, which you really cant tell from the pic

Found this wedding cake topper at Savers over the weekend; I thought it was a repro, but it isn't! I can't believe the condition. Have to sell it.

And I dug this dress out of the Goodwill Outlet Center; my vintage clothing dealer friend confirms that it is early 40s. It fits me but alas, it is destined for eBay.

Mary Deluxe, add me to your 50's lamp fan club! They are so cool! I can just picture them on sidetables with a low couch and boomerang shaped table... :D

As of today, I can die happy... My I Love Lucy fantasy is complete! This pencil skirt is a Don Loper lol

"Want to learn the lost arts? Love vintage styling? Here's another great how-to book. This book is the Learn How book, original copyright of 1941, this is the 31st addition from 1951. This book originally cost 10 cents and is 50 pages long. It's in good vintage condition with mild foxing here and there to the pages.

This book teaches you all pictured! There are patterns for clothing, household items, and gifts."

Hey! You got that one from me! Neat :)

I went to the goodwill today way out in the country. I have never been there before but will be going back! The dress I pulled out of a bin, yes ladies it's so worth standing there and going through the bins! The shoes were from the shoe rack...I almost died!! It's rare to come across a 50's pair of lucite
Spring-O-Lators in such good condition. All the rhinestones are there and no yellowing at all! Plus they fit! And just a little FYI spring o lators are called that because they have a band of elastic on the insole that helps give tension to keep the shoe on your foot. If there's no elastic, they're not spring o lators!!

It's all about the vintage karma ladies! ;) Plus come on this was the goodwill way, way, way out in the middle of the amish/mennonite cornfields! Lucky I snagged those shoes because I can just picture some teenage amish girl with those little beauties hidden under her dress! lol
