I was only one time in London and was not in Scotland.

Please tell how often men wear a kilt? On special occasions?

Yes, most Scottish men tend to wear them mostly for special occasions nowadays, like weddings. The Scottish regiments in the British army still wear them as their number 1 uniform. However, there are some men who do wear them on a day to day basis but that isn't as common as it once was. Kilts were traditionally only worn in the Highlands and Islands, not in southern Scotland.
