Here's a few city images from recent:
Thanks!Nice, crisp and vivid.
I don't usually post phone pics - hey, I'm still shooting b/w FILM - but this was on a stroll at Dennings Point State Park in Beacon, NY a few days ago. Besides the Hudson River views, there's a very cool ruin of an old paperclip factory that (incredibly) you can walk through:

Captured last night with my new camera (first one in twelve years) using a small telescope as a lens. Everything seemed to work well in 14 degrees F. except for my fingers. Shot at 1200mm focal length (compared to 28mm in the photos posted above early this lunar cycle.)

Beautiful abandoned spaces!!!
Oooooh...that's a beauty!!Thanks, Dm101. But I think these kinds of pics are even better in b/w. Here's a shot I did around five years ago, also at Dennings Point, but of a different abandoned building... photographed with good old Tri-X in a 1971 Nikon F2:

There's no question that today's phone cameras are great, but I still find it's worth the effort to do it old-school sometimes. Those mechanical cameras, old lenses, and classic film emulsions produce uniquely different images.
