Here's a shot of the family from last summer. the bronze '71 Commando has since moved on to a new home, and the alloy '65 Atlas is up on the bench to finally be completed. The car in the garage is a '75 Triumph TR6.

I love the TR6. Got any more pictures of it?

Here's a closer shot of the P11. It's a '68 P11A, pretty close to stock condition. I've also got a '69 Ranger, but it's a total basket case and will be a while longer before it's out on the road.
The Tr6 is nothing special, good daily runner, certainly not a show stopper, but lots of fun.

Hey All,

The bronze '71 Norton Commando (look a couple pictures up on this page) has moved to a new home in Australia, but its space in the garage didn't stay empty for long. The latest addition to the family if this super original 1962 Norton ES2, 500 cc single cylinder. Great little bike, has all the original bits and pieces, and starts first kick every time.

This is my first post. I like hats and motorcycles. I have a motorcycle rental business "tourbikes.com" and I am planning to start a retail hat business. I apparently can't post any photo's.

Here's my 1979 Yamaha XS Eleven. It's my daily rider. In fact I didn't even have a car for 10 years, just motorcycles. Unfortunately my bike needs an engine rebuild, so I'm driving a 300K+ miles '84 Subaru wagon for the time being.

First post, old bike!

Hi Everyone,
New to the site after just ordering an Aero Highwayman. Plenty of sound advice already posted about Aero, so didn't need to ask the same questions over again, so this happens to be my first post.
Tried to post a pic of my 1975 vintage Moto Guzzi 750S3, which I thought you might like, but couldn't figure it so i've just had to post a link instead. If anyone can help/advise on getting the pic on i'd appreciate it.
The bikes in pretty much original condition, having only covered 11,500 miles, with pretty good paint for the age, though the frame does have a few rust patches. The exhausts are period Lafranconi Competition models and the chrome is like new. Sometimes originality does have it's drawbacks, however, as I found out earlier today when the 36 year old clutch cable failed! Fortunately I was only 5 miles from home so managed to get home in 1st gear.
This model may not be familiar to our friends in America as it was never imported over there and had a very small production run of around 950.

Welcome Sweep. Love the Guzzi. I'd love to put together a Cafe Racer based on a Guzzi.

Guess I should spend a bit less on jackets...

Oh, almost forgot to add a pic of my 'bike' as it stands:

Still with the frame builder at the moment, can't wait to get it back and get stuck in!

Thanks for the kind words on the bike Scottyrocks & Aether.
I bought it in January and before that it had been stored for around 15 years.
It's just a shame we can't share sound clips on here as the lafranconi pipes really make sweet music around 3800rpm; well quite a racket actually, but nice.
I should imagine you will not be shy in the decibel department when your creation is finally unleashed, Aether. The Guzzi was registered in 1975 so I have some kind of excuse when I eventually get 'my collar felt' but how will you go on. In fact, how do Harley riders seem to get away with loud pipes on modern bikes??

Good point Sweep. I think the preconceived image most people (and the boys in blue) have of a Harley is big, shiny and LOUD, so we seem to get away with it! Fine by me, 'loud pipes saves lives' after all...
Bet the Guzzi makes a beautiful racket. How could anyone complain about that?!

I have posted pics of this before, but worth it again as since the last one, I've ripped the old front end off and added a later set of forks that actually damp a bit!! I think its now pretty much finished... Well, as much as they ever are, really I mean I'll leave it alone for a month or so!!
