Thanks! I'll be dropping by there this weekend then
Christy said:Inky, I agree on the eyebrows. When I do them they look dark to me but as soon as I get in my car or take a picture they look way too light. Thank you for the brow powder you suggested, I've been looking for something new and your brows look excellent! My eyebrows are my problem child, they never seem to be a shape I like, they can be different shapes, and they can be too light. Oh, I didn't sleep on the perm rods, that sounds painful!
C-dot, when I set my hair for that style I actually used the same pattern as Lolita in the tutorial. I just set my hair dry and then gently brushed it when I took the curlers out. My hair holds curl pretty well. I'm going to set my hair tonight so I can take a picture if you'd like.
Inky said:thanks all for the feedback - at first i looked pretty much like Gary Oldman's Dracula, but instead of opting for symmetry, I went with 4 random rolls. I like the height, but I admit it felt odd. Just takes some getting used to I guess.
MissHannah said:My first decent set in a long while - I've been wearing it up every day for ages as it's down to my shoulders now and I struggle to get good curls when it's this long. I think I probably should have brushed the back for a little longer as it still looks quite fluffy.
zombi said:Well, I'm still learning to set my hair [huh] I don't know what happened this time but the majority of it... didn't turn out so great. I ended up putting most of it in a bun, ha.
but the front/sides looked fingerwave-y, though I did a pincurl set. So here it is:
it is just kind of stuffed up in the back.
(please ignore how sickly I look -- I've not been feeling too well the past few months!)
