It looks good and the holster is first quality,congrats.One of my favorite wheelguns - the biggest and baddest .38 Special of all time - the N-framed S&W .38/44 Heavy Duty. This an immediate post-war production model. I came across the gun at a decent price last year and was finally able to cross this off my "wish list." It is possible (I am told) this gun was from Austin PD, has the original grips, and the finish is probably about 90% (looks much better than it photographs). The holster is a Tom Threepersons model from El Paso Saddlery.
