I really like to add these grips to a Colt Government model! They are fossil mammoth tooth and the best I have ever seen!

So remember when I was all like, I should buy these then buy the 1911 to put them on? I totally ordered them and they just came in. :D Now I need to get a pistol to put them on. My plan is to then get it engraved, make a nice BBQ gun.

Surprised I didn't post this earlier.
Not old, but a reproduction of an old revolver. My Uberti Top Break No. 3 in .45 Colt. Took 8 months from the time I put in the order to when I finally received it, I had to wait for the next batch of orders to be fulfilled.

A friend of mine just got a Remington R1 1911 in stainless and polished it up to look like nickel. Turned out nice and might be a starting point to consider.

Very nice. Did you order this one from Cimmaron Arms?

Man, I've been jonesing for one of those for years. I ordered one once and waited a year and then was told, they couldn't get it.

Been busy of late. Colt model 1905 in 45 acp but not the 45 acp you shoot in your 1911. Colt's first 45 cal handgun - they only made around 6000. This one went to the Copper Queen Mine in Arizona in 1907. Was period engraved at some point as well.

Shot this one right off the back porch. Seriously!!! Had just finished a rechambered job that day on the rifle. Husqvarna 146 in 9.3x57 to 9.3x62. Used the open sights as I hadn't even had a chance to sight in the scope.

Wife shot this one. Same spot. Last year. Off back porch. Less than 6 weeks after her open heart surgery! Rifle is her Winchester model 88. 308 calibre. Vintage 1957. And yes we love our cats!
