Bumstead, Those little CZ 22's have to be one of the best shootin' 22's on the market! I too, have a 452, and it is a tack driver! As for your 19, Ol' Bill Jordan would be proud!!!!!

Hi

I have a CZ-452 American, but I wish I had the Euro stock, it's much better offhand. I use mine in the CMP Sporter matches. I have a Weaver K-series 6x scope on it.

I'm not much of a rifleman so i won't post an embarrassing group here, but yes in capable hands or from a rest the CZ 452 has got to be the best .22lr rifle out there in term of cost/accuracy ratio.

Martinis, anyone?

Well, it's official. I guess I'm truly addicted to Martinis. This is the third one I've bought in the past month. This one is a Kandahar Arsenal 2nd Model Cavalry Carbine that I just bought from Khyber Arms LLC, which is fellow Lounger MPicciotto's business.

Oh, he's dangerous, he is. And I saw the Cavalry model in the carpet case. Tempting, very tempting.

The cases are rarer then the guns themselves. We have hunted up a total of TEN so far. The Cavalry model is Chris's. I thought it was a pretty good model to show off the sleeve eh?

Finally broke down and bought my first Mosin-Nagant the other day. Can't wait to try it out. Also grabbed a Ruger SR22 (love to plink) and then there's this new one, a Heritage Big Bore in .45:

I love cowboy wheelies.

I was ready to buy one of those little CZ rifles when I was in Clarks shop outside of Shreveport some years back and found a consignment gun, a pretty little Winchester 52b reproduction. I put one of the small Leupold 4x Rimfire scopes on it. It's probably the most accurate rifle I have, but for fun it's the Marlin 39a Dad bought me back in 1952.

I do have a sweet little CZ 22 Hornet, on their minature Mauser action. It has the standard American sporter stock. I wish it had the fullstock European hogback type wood. I picked up one of those at a shop in SE Tenn. a few years ago and it handled nice, plus had open sights. Only problem it was one of the new then 17 cal cartridges and I did not want to fool with that.
