Well, maybe Sarge, but my plan is for them all to go to an auction house on my death with proceeds going to the Wounded Worrier project.
Sorry Mr. Spade was wrong! Right here's the stuff dreams are made of!!!
Well all I needed was another 94. Found this old warhorse at the LGS where I worked for a while. Couldn't pass up the price as some past owner had spilt coke cola all over right side of receiver. However the piece is otherwise tight and clean. And I did have this old Redfield #70 receiver sight laying around in need of a carbine home ! I'm a sucker for cheap winchesters. Oh yeah, it was born in '53.
New Pick up truck gun!!!
Bought on Sunday last, shot yesterday, sending to Ruger tomorrow the front sight must be out of place or the barrel not fully aligned - shoots about 10" left at 7 yards, the rear sight has to be ALL the way to the right to find the X ring...oh well [huh], they'll fix it.

Nice find! Mike. Bummer is it will have to be overnighted due to handgun regs. Equals $$$ in shipping. Try calling Ruger quality control and see if they will send you a prepaid postage label. Sometimes mfg will! Doesn't hurt to ask!!!!
I spoke with them this morning Bob, they've sent me a FedEx label & return number - good folks to deal with.
