Well really I was just worried the whole time I would say something stupid like "I have straycat strut as my ring tone".

Halloween Dress! The polka-dots are flocked on. This is created from three patterns and based off a dress i saw and really wanted but was 95$, i recognized the spiderweb fabric and set about making my own for far less I'm pretty happy with it, but i wish i could have encased the neck in black and still had it lay flat.

Oh my lordy lordy! Thats a fabulous dress...I love it. Welldone!

I havn't been able to get to my sewing machine for months now due to studying. I so miss sewing and wish I could find some time to do just a little bit. I started sewing a 1940's Acadamy dress months ago and its just sitting there looking at me and saying " sew me, sew me"......

Thank you And i know just what you mean! Except i abandoned a project recently after completing the mock up....then went on to make this dress and my Halloween costume lol, i really should get back to the other project however :/

Thanks hailey and kamikat. I tend to sew wide waistbands more often than narrower ones. They act like a waist cincher (covering my stretch marks so I can wear cropped tops) and don't tend to "cut in" as the day wears on. Nothing worse than having to open the button on skirt after dinner! lol

Amazing work from everyone.

I am proud of this dress. I took a ton of pictures of the whole process. I wish the skirt fit better but I'll fix that next time. I think I've lost weight since I made the dress.

I agree believe it or not it looks even better in person, I saw Miss DPD wearing this at Imelda May and she was a knock out.
