Yes, I got them at a store called "Comfort One". They are ok, but I still have to put in an arch support. So far, the best solution is my Muffy's with orthodics.
Summer shorts made from 30s pajama bottom pattern:
I would have liked to make the long version, but I didn't have enough fabric and I figured it would be nice to make a pair of shorts for the summer. Overall, I guess it's not great looking, but very comfortable and also I love the drapey rayon fabric I used.
So this outfit qualifies for the second step of LadyDay's Make and Mend challenge: sew something with fabric you already have (step one for me was the mending). This piece of daisy print was laying around since last summer. Good to have it out of the cupboard and in my closet! Thanks!! I used a quilter's cotton and went down one pattern size....no alterations and it went together pretty quickly. Can't wait to toodle around in it on my bicycle in it tonight!
