that's amazing. how exactly did you do that? is there a tutorial online somewhere? i have a dress form that is a children's body... it has my waist measurement but of course the bust and hips are way off.
That's why I made it, I wanted one that has exactly my measurements, with all the bumps and flaws. Plus, it's way less expensive than a professional one. I used a German tutorial, but it should be useful for anyone cause it has pictures: http://www.burdastyle.de/trends/tipps-tricks/wie-geht-eigentlich-eine-massbueste_aid_2704.html
Somewhere else (maybe here http://www.rustybobbin.com/inklings/dtd.html), I found the idea to put a hanger in the top to make it even more stable (and to have the opportunity to hang it if I don't have enough space for the stand). I didn't even put a piece of cardboard in the bottom, just stuffed it with old newspapers and then put some more tape on the bottom.
If you want to make one, be sure to get a lot of tape! It's kind of depressing when you're almost done and realize you run out of tape (that's why we used two different kinds; actually I wanted a "neck" too, but there wasn't enough tape). I used about 35 meters of tape and the back is still not all covered! Also, be sure to stuff it properly with enough paper or the like, because if you don't, you easily get dents (especially in the delicate front part )
