Thanks for the compliments
Tatum, it's a V shape, but there are ties that wrap around to the front.
This is the jumper I made today. My husband hates it lol. I really like it though.
Thanks everyone! Being short-waisted I always take up my patterns, but this one evidently didn't need it. On the other hand, the elbow darts are dead nuts! Nice to have a tailored jacket under my belt though. One small boost for the sewing confidence level.
I think it looks adorable! Is that Simplicity 3673?
It sure is!
Nice top Shebear! The material is pretty!
Crwritt: Loving the fascinator, cant wait to see the finished result!
Thanks so much, Lauren. Just stumbled across your photos on the "Show Us Your Best" thread. Gorgeous!! You can pull off that perfect, period-look without being pretentious. (psst, page 8 everyone)
Here's my big winter project. My first attempt at a fully lined jacket and skirt made from Pendleton wool (once upon a time I could buy yardage from an outlet that was near me). I reshaped the neckline to accommodate a vintage rabbit fur collar from my husband's grandmother. Overall I'm happy with it although the waistline is a tich too high.
