Thanks for the compliments
Tatum, it's a V shape, but there are ties that wrap around to the front.
This is the jumper I made today. My husband hates it lol. I really like it though.

Thanks everyone! Being short-waisted I always take up my patterns, but this one evidently didn't need it. On the other hand, the elbow darts are dead nuts! Nice to have a tailored jacket under my belt though. One small boost for the sewing confidence level.![]()
It sure is!![]()
Nice top Shebear! The material is pretty!
Crwritt: Loving the fascinator, cant wait to see the finished result!![]()
Thanks so much, Lauren. Just stumbled across your photos on the "Show Us Your Best" thread. Gorgeous!! You can pull off that perfect, period-look without being pretentious. (psst, page 8 everyone)
Here's my big winter project. My first attempt at a fully lined jacket and skirt made from Pendleton wool (once upon a time I could buy yardage from an outlet that was near me). I reshaped the neckline to accommodate a vintage rabbit fur collar from my husband's grandmother. Overall I'm happy with it although the waistline is a tich too high.
