Cookeville, Tenn relatives ( one of my grandfathers in the upper right on the first pic.... it was a ww1 reunion group... 328th infantry regiment ... Alvin Yorks outfit). Growing up I remember him in an Open Road ( he was a big LBJ fan) and that he had a whole closet of Champ hat boxes. I have ONE of his champ Featherweights from the 50s. Sadly when he passed a cousin bought the family farm and his wife basically threw everything in the old homestead away

Ragland, Alabama relatives. both sides of the family were hat guys regardless whether they were dirt farmers or fancy town folks.
