My hats don't hold a candle to those of you more experienced collectors, but in case any of you want to do any horse-trading later on, this will give you an idea of my tastes. The O.R.'s are purely functional - I don't really like the style.

Clockwise from top left: Knox 20 undergoing a rebuild but I know it's going to be great, Playboy, Borsalino Mascotte, Stetson O.R., Borsalino O.R. style, wide-brim Borsalino with Cavanagh edge.

WOW. The recent show-stealers for me are;

Ande's 3X Suede with that ribbon replacement,

billy's Pacesetters,

and J.T.'s Imperial Stetson (now THAT'S my kind of hat!!).

:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap to all.

Add to that the one on bottom right of Scott's collage!

Yep, J.T.'s Imperial Stetson is also easily my favorite posted so far, but all the hats in this thread are nice.

I'm curious if JtL could manage to pick a 'top 10' list.

Jimmy might be scratchin' his head a little over this one, but he'd better come through...

Niiiice job dragging out the suspense there, Michael. I like the drama. Even the box in that last one is beautiful.

An old Knox with a very tall crown; this hat must be 1930s or earlier. It's still in unworn condition and the felt is incredibly soft and pliable:

Scott, That Borso on the lower right is great, a very sharp looking lid.

lol lol lol

I have definitely decided on a top 9. After that, it's a complete coin toss...

I have to do some serious catching up on the posts here. I have to say, though, that this is a very cool thread -- in one concentrated burst, it captures some beautiful fedoras. This is a real treasure trove! :eusa_clap

I like MichaelShane's Gypsy Rose Lee approach...:D

BTW, Victor -- I trust you'll be joining in, as well...;)

Cheers,
JtL
