Since I haven't been taking it off for the past five days, I guess it's some sort of favorite to me. That four sizes too large CR I decided to keep:

Saw a big truck today with a paint job that read, "....something something or Hell."

That said, if I don't go there, I swear, I will wake up in a pool filled with horsehide. Then someone will put on a Martin Denny record, a bunch of ladies will emerge wearing silk, and finally the leather jacket guys will show up and we'll sit around Jan Solo's tree of wisdom and we'll all share our leather jacket tales while being served drinks by the women of the silk.

A couple of P-51Ds will fly by, then the sky will turn into a British overcast and get really cold, and we'll all sleep by the campfire in our Irvins or B-3s under the sounds of the Lancasters. There will be no fighting among manufacturers. Members will love each other, for their mutual love of jackets will erase past animosities. There will only be peace, love, and leather. And silk. And a few nylon jackets I suppose.

Looks very nice from the front, like the six pocket Hippy Jacket, but from the back, ay yi yi: a. it looks ridiculous; b. it's completely impractical - the bag's sewn on to the back, so you'd have to take your jacket off every time you wanted to access it!

lol Nick, if only it was Best Buy. I'm almost... No, I AM ashamed to admit this, but it's Ikea. It's a really lovable jacket! Thank you.

I'm trying to imagine that pool filled with horsehide. Is it like, a liquid horsehide, or just a pool full of thousands of hides stacked on top of each other?

It's a perfect dream. I've had one where I was at someone's house (actually, it was one of the members here and nobody I've ever seen a photo of) and there was an infinite coat hanger, kind of like in that guns scene in the Matrix movie, with cafe racers hanging on it, as far as the eye can see. All sorts, not just one model. I was jealous.

That peacoat looks like the real thing. One of the most comfortable, luxurious-feeling coats I've ever worn was one I got from an Army/Navy in New Jersey back in the '70's. For $40.00, I remember.
