I picked this up last fall because the pit to pit measurement seemed small and I thought it may run small and fit like a 40. One of my costlier mistakes I have made, not gonna lie. Don't be fooled by the PTP, this fits huge, due to the under arm gussets and the action back. Atleast true to size, I believe even a 44" chest may fit into this. Measurements below but as I said, rather go by measurement including atleast half of the underarm gussets rather than regular pit to pit, or you'll end up with a way too large jacket, like I did. And at a 39" chest 155 pounds this was hilariously large on me. Like two sizes too big, no overexageration.

Condition: The previous owner bought this new from a shop in Germany who used to stock Lost Worlds and was able to get this custom made for him in 4 plus oz russet horsehide, the G-1 usually comes only in goatskin and Stuart was very hesitant to do this style in such a heavy leather, so this is kind of a rare thing. He must have worn it a bit as the horsehide is thick yet not very stiff, but there is rarely any signs of wear or creases on the jacket. It has some color loss along the zipper from the friction of zipping up and down and there's some color loss at the usual spot shoulders (Idk why jackets always have bruises there, one of the leather jacket mysteries) and here and there else. All very minor. The zipper is fully intact but I included a close up anyway as the glue or whatever is down there at its bottom hem is kind of "crumbling", no damage to the cottonband though.

Measurements:

Shoulders: Roughly 50 cm
Pit to pit measured the classic way below gussets: 54 cm (DON'T I REPEAT DON'T be fooled by that!)
Pit to pit measured half way up the gussets: 58ish cm (This is much closer to how the jacket fits, you should take this or even a tad more, like 60 cm as reference when comparing to other jackets)
Frontlength: 72-73 cm (zipper length 62 cm)
Backlength: 64 cm (you can see the jacket has significant front drop so don't worry about it not covering your belt)
Sleeves: 65 cm measured the "aero"-way straight down, 67-68 cm measured around the curve.

Judging from how much too large and also too long it is on me, I believe this should fit someone who is 5'11-6'2, 180 lbs ish, 42" chest.

Price: 700€ plus shipping via paypal. If you don't want to do family and friends, you cover additional fees. I have sold like 10 jackets here, can give references if necessary.

Pictures in next post, going to try to upload directly from phone.

Here's fit pictures for reference, starring me, 176cm tall, 39" chest, 150 lbs.

I went arms out to the sides to demonstrate the enormous room in the chest and then arms straight down to dmonstrate how the sleeves cover my entire thumb.

Nice jacket.

I also am a 39" chest and discussing with Lost Worlds a 38 seemed to be my size but seeing you in a 42 makes me think a 40 may work even though the measurements seem big.

Real nice jacket and good luck with sale. I wish it was a 38 or 40.

Here is a backshot demonstrating backlength on my 1.76m frame. It fits me at least 2" (5cm) longer than I would like in this style.
