I bought this many years ago and barely wore it. I think the whole Goodwear myth spooked me, treated it more like a holy grail than a piece of clothing. It is beautiful, arguably the most beautiful jacket I own. The Shinki Horsehide has a a very reddish Russet tone and is gorgeous to look at - both in colour and grain. It makes me understand why people fancy Shinki.
Sadly, I have outgrown it, it is labeled size 42 but fits more like a 40. At 5'10 and 170 lbs I can wear it and zip it up comfortably but I have fairly wide athletic shoulders and it restricts my movement to a point where I just don't wear it and as there is no weight nor muscle loss planned, won't wear it in the foreseeable future either plus I am making room for new purchases. So if anyone fancies a Goodwear in Shinki without the wait, here's your chance.
It is lightly used, some light cuffs and scratches, nothing that penetrated the topcoat really, most edges haven't lose their colour yet. However there is one tiny fault. The previous and first owner must've put his forearms into spilled coffee pool or something because there is a darkened spot that looks like some fluid spill on the underside of one of the sleeves. It is not big, it is not drastic in color, with more wear and discoloration and fades of the hides it will be even less visible and nobody is going to see it unless they come up from behind and stick their nose into your armpit, but it is there. Jacket is priced accordingly, same as when I bought it. See picture for my best attempt to photograph the spot with a measuring tape next to it.
Not trying to make a buck here, just passing on a treasure at net zero. If it doesn't sell for that, I will keep it. Don't need the money, have more of that than I need. It just don't do nobody no good if this goes in storage for the next 20 years so I am giving it a shot.

Back 63cm (it is slightly longer in the front)
