Wearing light-colored suits is a good reminder that the world is against us, but that we needn't let it get us down!

Also some linen trousers and shirts for honeymoon beach wear and a nice striped blue and white cotton blazer.
I will be hunting for a seersucker suit while in NY and the Twin Cities next week (anyone with suggestions please let me know!).

If you are going to be in the Twin Cities you should check out Marty Mathis Clothiers. He is a member of the Lounge. I don't know if he has any Seer Sucker suits but he has a great shop by all accounts.

carldelo said:You could check the sale Skyvue mentioned at Jos. A. Bank - it's at Madison and 46th. The prices on the website are pretty remarkable at the moment - they have a nice looking DB seersucker suit in blue, and 3-button in a bunch of colors. They even have seersucker shorts, go figure!
:eusa_clap Whooo doggies! Peak lapels and pinned collars are the genuine $#!!.Feraud said:This guy looks sharp!

carldelo said:DC, there is tan seersucker as well - I've seen it around, although I'm not sure how prevalent it is. It's definitely more stealthy than blue, but no one blinks at seersucker in New York, of course.
It's Fishman Fabrics in Chicago but their website appears to be down at the moment.BoomBoomRoom said:What is the website that offers these swatches? Thanks

From my personal fabric stash. Three yards of cotton tan seersucker from the 1940s. Not enough for a suit, though.
