Sears Oakbrook-46 Vintage late 40s Goatskin-42

Sears Oakbrook: These jackets replaced the Hercules in the Sears line. Probably first cataloged in the early 60s. They are a favorite of mine. This is a Brown Steerhide with nice heavier brown lining. Size tag is gone, but I would say a size 46. I wear a 44 and this fits me like a size 46. Nice solid condition for not a lot of money. Great knock around jacket that has a great vintage look.

Late 1940s Goatskin Coat with nice quilt lining. I would call it a size 42 as it is too small for me at a size 44. I have seen this same coat with a California Sportswear label. Coat is very warm with the quilt lining which is in very nice condition. Both pockets have buttons, the left breast pocket has an opening the right is a dummy. There were a couple of areas of loose thread on the shoulders which were glued. They should not give any problems with regular wear.
