Hello everyone,
Offering for sale a vintage Schott IS-674-MS Bomber jacket in size 40 with shearling collar and interior.
This jacket is in great shape, both the leather and the shearling. I’m not 100% sure about the leather, but I believe it’s cowhide or steerhide. Knits have some pilling but no other damage I’m aware of. Zip and snaps all function as expected.
Based on the zipper I think this jacket was produced in the mid 1980s, maybe ‘86.
I am 5’11, with a 39” chest, and this jacket fits quite well, but is a touch snug across the back for me. I can layer it wear it with a sweater, but in vintage sizes on this jacket I should probably have gone to a size 42 to get the kind of mobility I want.
All in all, a very fine and stylish jacket. Hoping to find it a new home where it will get worn more than I wear it. Very warm in inclement weather.
Asking $300USD, plus shipping. Jacket is located in Canada.
Fun fact, this is the model of jacket worn by Kurt Russel in the John Carpenter classic ‘The Thing”
Thanks,
NR
