Looks like a slim long Perfecto sans belt and epaulettes. Leather looks nice and shiny I wonder what it is. The suspense is killing me.

Softened CXL FQHH!
$1300
Detailed stitching
Base pattern block 519

What does the back look like? Fingers crossed its the full one piece back no kidney panel, like the 50s jacket. Fine Creek look out, Schott is punching back, hard... haha. It is between this and the Ogawa/Schott/Horween Pinnacle FQHH special for me. The back panel will determine which one.

No, the Fine Creek fans want an epaulette and belts to be there in the first place, and then cut off, lol.

An actual jacket designed without them is not for them.

I do think this jacket is a bit confused, though. Some of these minimalist/modern features, but the zipper setup of the 60s jackets. From the collar shape I think this (or at least just the collar) might be based on the CXL/Shinki jacket rather than the 613S pattern (the 519 itself is just a lengthened, alpha-sized version of the 613S pattern).

The 613S pattern is also now used by the Japanese market retro models, replacing the awful one they used previously.

The length it is looks awful - lose 2 or 3 inches as mentioned earlier and it would look great probably. What a shame

I really like this leather. A crazy part of me would buy it then send it to the Schott repairs department to have epaulettes and a belt added lol.
I tried it on today and it does fit a *little* long. I also think it'd be much cooler with a bit more going on.

Tried on that and an Addict, and will probably snag the Addict despite liking the Horween more.

Is it only me, but when I see a Perfecto without the star, or epaulet and belt missing, It seems like something is lacking?

Reporting from Bellagio Italy this week.
Here is my 519. It's been with me to
Japan
Hong kong
Singapore
Amsterdam
Milan

I get your feeling however I much prefer a jacket like this that is envisioned without the belt/epaulettes in the first place than the disgusting workwear trend of cutting them off.

The leather looks utterly fantastic. The jacket itself looks too long and the design is confused.

I think part of the too-long look is part-and-parcel with these beltless versions of motorcycle jackets that were designed to have belts. They end up just having too much negative space and look super long to me, even if it turns out they're not, measurement wise. Removable-belt jackets also fill in that space in their own way, with the belt loops.

Aviators on the other hand don't look 'wrong' to me in that way, probably because they're more like half-belts that just happen to be double breasted, so the relatively 'clean' space towards the hem is expected.

I like it. It sort of reminds me of what The Flat Headed did for Standard and Strange with the Delraiser. A paired back version. YMMV

Hello from NYC! Newly subscribed as a long term "visitor" to the forum. Just thought I'd add my experience to the highly anticipated release. Tried it on at my local 3sixteen and although the jacket didn't quite fit me (too long in the arms - a common occurrence for my stature) the quality, stitching, was very nice. Comparing this to a Fine Creek Leon that I recently held; a bit lighter with more of a sheen. Light definitely seems to reflect and reveal details a bit more compared to a matte finish. For reference: I'm Asian, stand 5'8", at an athletic 175 lbs (I'm all back, shoulders, and arms). Was able to squeeze into a Medium but sleeve length landed almost 2" past my wrist with arms hanging.
