Schott Hand Oiled Naked Perfecto - Size Small

Up for sale is my Schott Hand Oiled Naked Perfecto in size small, excellent condition.

Coming from Schott's higher "Perfecto" line, this is a special collaboration made for Mr. Porter based off the 619 in full aniline naked hand oiled hide, which features a solid burgundy lining rather than the plaid cotton - a bit more understated and attractive in my opinion. I've loved this jacket and taken good care of it, but I lost a decent amount of weight since I bought it and it just doesn't fit me in the way that I'd like it to anymore. For reference, I'm 5'11", a usual size small in American sizes, size 37 chest and weigh 143 lbs. When I bought it I was around 155 lbs and at my current weight it can still work with a little room for layering, depending on how you like things to fit.

Please note that, due to the oiled aniline nature of the leather, the jacket has a lot of pull up to it and hides no scratches or folds. That's the point. Any marks vanish though if you just rub the spot and redistribute the oils. Please also be aware that the "36" labeled mannequin is closer to a 38 with a 40 inch chest.

It retails for about $1000 - I'm asking $575 shipped OBO. I'd rather sell to a forum member as the bay and other major selling site is full of weird people.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Love this jacket but Schott fits me weird. Will you be so kind as to list the specs for:

Shoulders (seam to seam)
Chest (pit to pit)
Sleeves (shoulder seam to end cuff)
Back length (under collar to bottom)

Thank you!

This would probably be a little big on me. But I kind of want to try it out. Willing to try a trade? I’ve had my Cal listed here on the forum for awhile. Search Cal w Collar and it should come up with all the info and measurements. Might be small length wise for you, as this would be big on my chest but I’m willing if you are to trade! Haha. Let me know.

Ah man. Really cool jacket but it looks too big for me. Thanks for the offer, though!

Where would you think it’s too big? Shoulders are about the same. It’s much shorter than yours. The PTP on mine is bigger but that’s because if has a classic chest to waist drop. It goes from 21 one inch larger than yours but to about 16 at the waist which yours does not have. Yours is pretty much straight drop with maybe a marginal chest to waist drop. The chest to waist drop gives it that classic Brando-James Dean cut. Which actually makes my Cal while having what sounds like a bigger fit, actually a much more trim stylish fit. The sleeves could be an issue on mine though. I will give you that. Mine are long compared to the rest of the measurements, which is why I think mine was probably a custom
Build. Thought I’m 5’7 so for you at 5’11 actually makes a lot of sense. But this all sounds like a sales tactic and I promise you it’s not haha. Just genuinely curious why you think it would be big. Also since he commented I’ll tag @Monitor, he can vouch that chest to waist taper makes a big difference in fit and can make a world of difference that the current Schott models like yours or my 618 don’t have like they used to. He can also vouch this isn’t a sales tactic I’m a long time member and never push things. As a matter of fact welcome to TFL happy to have you here. I hope you enjoy it and find it as informative and fun as I have. I lurked here for like two years before I became a member. Now like 15 jackets and 15 boots later I can’t leave haha. So in conclusion if a trade doesn’t work out so be it I don’t care, I don’t need anymore jackets especially more Schotts I’ve had way too many haha. Like I said just curios, and if no trade good luck with the sale! This is a really cool Schott and someone will be happy with it.

Can confirm. Give me a Large jacket with a proper waist width - By proper, I mean, cross zip has to be tapered and V shaped - and I'm happy. My 613 sz. 38 still seems a bit big on me 'cause of the gut room, even though it technically should be sprayed on while the 42 Aero I had was perfect fit, cause of the crazy narrow waist.

You guys bring up good points, but I'm pretty particular about chest and shoulder measurements, even if the taper is pretty pronounced. I don't like a whole lot of room in the chest. In any case, though, appreciate you sharing the experience.
