Schott 613 has snap buttons under collar?

Long time lurker here.

Just received a Schott 613 size 42 (purchased new from Tate + Yoko for Black Friday sale 2024), but it has snap buttons under the collar, which serves no purpose.
In one star 613, the top collar doesn't have snap buttons, so it doesn't make sense to have buttons under the collar. And no, it isn't compatible with optional fur collar in Schott 618.

Is this a new edition of Schott 613 or has this item been altered (sold as new)?

I compared it to the Schott 613 in size 40, which I already own (purchased new from The Shop Vancouver in 2020) and took some comparison pictures. Wondering if the Fedora Lounge experts can lend me their expertise. Thank you.

*I ordered size 42 because I wanted more room for my shoulders. However the cross shoulder measurement was identical to size 40: 18". According to the measurements provided to me from Schott rep, the size 42 should measure 19" cross shoulder.

**This order was missing the wax seal of authenticity on the attached Schott label as well.

Size 42 is suppose to have 18.5" shoulder and size 44 has 19". If pulled to measure can add 1"

There is no extra snaps on my 618 or 613. Something is off on your size 42 Tate and Yoke jacket. It may be a special store order or whatever, it is not the core offerings for sure. Send it back.

Thanks for the reply. I'm waiting to hear back from T+Y. They forwarded my email to Schott. Hopefully I can get it exchanged as they don't offer it in normal circumstances.
