A friend's young lad is looking for the answer to the question so he can get one.
In the BBC tv series SAS Rogue Heroes series 2, who made Paddy Mayne's black leather jacket? I know that Bill Kelso made at least one of the jackets used in series 1 but I can't find the answer to the above.

About 12 years ago when I first started hunting for vintage leather jackets I came across a similarly styled long jacket with an Aero Leather label. They don’t make it now I’ve checked.

Depending on how screen-accurate they're after and how much they want to spend, this is very close in style:

I've not handled any of the History Bunker's leather jackets (though I have seen some of their other tailoring up close and was reasonably impressed), but this is certainly the closest I've seen in this not-commonly-reproduced style. Price looks reasonable - I'd expect it to be in line with Wested quality at least for that. It'll be no Aero, but at about 20% of the price I would be a lot more forgiving of that.

Not an exact copy, but might be worth looking into - especially if the young man concerned is still growing and doesn't want to commit big money to a jacket he might not get many years out of while it still fits.

ETA: the zips look too modern for the style to my eye, if that matters to the would-be wearer, but that's going to be par for the course at anything of this style much under a grand these days.

Thanks Edward I’ve forwarded it to him.
