It's called a racing shirt for a reason, so I'm fine with that + I have other jackets I can layer in.
If you're looking for layering and are normally considered a 42, I'd size up.

Thanks for the advice.
I think i will go for a 44 as i usually wear L in Jackets.
I'm 5'11 195lbs . I'm just a bit concerned about the sleeves longer now.

This design is made by plenty of makers which are less tricky fits, like Vanson or Bates.

IMO one of those would serve you better. Japanese jackets always feel like a major gamble on anyone over 40" in chest (and sometimes even that is pushing it). Like if you wear an "L" in jackets in the west, that's usually a 3XL in Japan at least.
