What's wrong with tweed anyways?

Haha, nothing. I like tweed, I just wanted something more uniform in color. And I'm going to be around a bunch of steampunk people and I want to look different. Steampunk is all brown, brown, tweed, velvet, brown...

Thanks for posting those shirts - I may just go the DIY route. I've actually got some sewing skills, though they could be improved... maybe a project like this would be a good idea.

Has anyone else seen the chinstrap at banana republic? Long chinstrap, good looking cut. Zig zag stitching on the back of the collar. Oddly small buttons though.

I can't find it on their website other than on the model here.

I've seen it. Someone earlier in this thread posted about buying one I believe.
I like it. It's a bit different from the Gap and J Crew shirts, which is good.
I think it was 30% off this weekend too. I suspect a markdown is coming soon.

If you're talking about the chambray chin strap shirt on Banana Republic. I bought one of those a little while ago. It's a great shirt. I wear it all the time. Very comfortable and good looking.
