We are far, but determined. We realized that our investment in the cloth is anyways going to be huge ,so, the target initial orders would not make much of a difference monetarily.

We are thus doing it for the love of it.

The ones that we have are encouragement enough, with you leading the pack.

The sample hat should reach us next week to get the ball rolling. Good chance that it will be ready in time for use in the coming season.

thanks for the response, look forward to seeing the hat

The Railroad - The perfect work-shirt:

I like the sawtooth pockets on that one. Nice touch.

AND.....yes, the denim western models really are great work shirts. They last a long time, are fairly flame resistant (very important when working around welders), very warm when layered in winter but not too miserable in 100°+ temps, and no buttons to lose. The snaps also make them faster to get out of at the end of the day.

Thanks mate. We took in some of the classic design elements and brought them all together here.

I would not think that they are flame resistant, but, at 10 Oz, the denim can withstand some welding. The washing, that breaks the fabric in, makes it cool enough to wear on warm days.

That is the beauty of classic clothing. They did not, thankfully, have the luxury of man-made fibers and chemical coatings to meet desired goals. They thus used weaves, weights, layers etc to wonderful effects.

Work shirt with a flowing front yoke, seamed elbow patch, vintage brass snap buttons, lightly shirred back and flowing flapped pockets.

I paid a visit to the West Broadway RRL yesterday in NYC. What an amazing store.
I got to see the new Fall stock. There's not much on the website yet, but I did see the above shirt and it's quite nice...

I went to the 14 oz store in Berlin yesterday. They have a lot of RRL, LVC and japanese denim stuff and the building at the Kudamm store is beautiful. The usual high prices too but it's nice to see the items in person. I guess there are not many stores like this in germany. I also saw the red RRL shirt but found it a bit too bright. But if you buy it for me I'd gladly wear it. Haha.
The once thing I couldn't fathom was the washed out (predistressed) T-Shirts for more than 90€ euros and still made in third world countries. WTF?

Here is the store. i think the shelves belonged to a library once.

It's true FFF, seeing this stuff in person in a great enviornment really adds to the inspiration.
At RRL, there were definitely antique store fixtures being used, and decor right out of a vintage man cave fever dream.

I realize that this post is old. But I would like to communicate with the owner of the Levi's shawl collar blazer. Thank you. Ludo

The RRL shop is very nice. I was last there about a year and a half ago. They showcased some very nice suits. The materials were great. Lots of tweeds, houndstooth, etc. in very decent weights.
