Two years ago, on impulse, I bought a cafe racer from Thursday, this way the first leather jacket in ~15 years and while reasonable well constructed, the fit and the leather were an enormous disappointment; so I went looking for good leather jackets, and found TFL.
2 jackets in particular captured my attention, TartuWolf’s Hooch Hauler, and Ton’s Bootlegger 2.0 - the ‘Boot Racer’ - last week, I received my version of Ton’s masterpiece.
Originally ordered in tobacco Badalassi, during the Aero sale last October, the first version had some fit issues and Aero graciously agreed to a remake. This time, we switched to chestnut Badalassi, and on Denny’s recommendation, used caramel stitching.
My version skips the throat latch, and is proportionately shorter and, ahem, narrower in the body, given the difference in our physiques - how do you think it turned out?
