Remove Pet Hair from Oilskin Duster

Hello,

I recently purchased a new oilskin duster after wanting one for many years.

It didn't take long for me to notice that it picks up dog hair/fur from my two dogs with ease, and it does not release it with my normal lint remover.

My question is, what do you use to remove dog hair from your oilskin coat?

Once your coat has seen some rain & the wax wears off a bit it won't be so tacky. I've not had any problems with pet hair though I may get some fluff sticking just after reproofing. It doesn't last long. You must bear in mind though, that oilskin Drover's coats are outdoor garments & not high street fashion wear. They can develope some interesting odors too, don't be alarmed. :D

Start with the roller.
Follow-up with Gorilla Tape wrapped in a roll - sticky-side out - around your fingers. That should do it.
