Complete enabler! I've been waiting for these to go on sale for ages. It's been so long I stopped checking Thanks for the heads up, a pair of pewter are on their way to me!Lady Day said:Ive tried those on I wear about a 9/10, but would go with a 9 as the leather will stretch.
The people who are the most helpful with the shoes are the ones you see selling them at vintage events. They are always nice.

- how comfy are they? can you dance in them? i'm thinking tango, perhaps balboa (heel is quite high)
- how does the silver matte version look like - no pic on site
- is quality worth the price? (and for that matter do they ever go into sale?)
- how do they fit? are they true to size?
i think they look just perfect, i wish the price would be more appealing...$200 without shipping...is a lot for me hm

Re-Mix did a smart thing. They began in 1992 as a store that sold vintage deadstock shoes --from the 1920s to the '60s-- for women and men. No repros in sight. (I used to shop there. Incredible stuff!) By the later '90s, there weren't enough deadstock sources left to make the business cost effective. Hence, Re-Mix began to reproduce vintage styles. Their first batches of repro shoes were made in Mexico; I don't know who makes them now.
Re-Mix saved itself by adapting well to changing circumstances. Good for them! :eusa_clap

Does anyone have a pair of the open toe, closed back lace up spectators? If so are they true to size? Also are they stable and supportive? I have some mobility challenges, and want to have something colorful other than my school marm black oxfords.
