Thanks for the compliment BB! Ross, I start all my Cattleman & center creases with a wooden rolling pin. My mom had two I kept, one is a smaller diameter (for pastry dough?). I also sometimes use a 2" dia dowl rod. If you don't have a rolling pin in your kitchen you can probably find one cheap at a garage sale. If you want me to go into more detail on the Dogbone let me know; I'll think it thru & type it out. I've done a few.HJ does one of the best around, perhaps he’ll offer some insight.

First reference I ever found to the crease and the name Dogbone was from Resistol. It was an optional crease to an OR clone you could order. Unfortunately I didn't note the catalog or yr.Yours were the first I remember seeing too, and I appreciate the suggestions Jack and BB! I’ll give it another go with steam this weekend, it would be nice to mix up one of my cattleman’s a touch.
